Is it possible to start boxing at such an older age?

Usually when people start a sport they have to start at a young age. I'm 14, girl, basically weak but I want to try boxing as a way to get my emotions out and stop self harm. I was wondering if it could work out?|||14 isn't too young to start boxing ... plenty of fighters started a lot later than that. For example, Kermit Cintron is a pro boxer (used to be IBF ww champ) who didn't start until he was 19.|||14 is defiantly not to old to start anything and their is no reason to not do something and regret it later, like when your 70 and actually to old. I would say go for it and give it at least a couple of weeks/months because you will probably be pretty bad to start (but its only temporary!). And if it doesnt work out it doesnt matter, at least you tried|||Just do it

Im 23 and i am going to start boxing. Oh yea and i am going to the the future undefeated, undisputed middleweight champion of the world. Dead serious.
