How do you get rid of the smell from sweat in Boxing Gloves?

I train for boxing 3-4 times a week and my gloves developed a smell from the sweat. I wash my hand wraps every week and yet the gloves still have that odor. Any recommendations on getting rid of the smell? Thank you.|||Throw them away and next time buy 3 pair and alternate the 3 while the others are being clean.|||i hang them on the shower, but the outside, not inside.

the reason is becuz its dry sweat.

if u just tie them on the shower like where the towel is supposed to be, it will absorb the steam and soap from the shower.

this will prevent dry cold sweat, and eliminate the smelly odors,

you can also try simpler things like febreeze, baby powder, or baking soda.

put these inside the gloves|||They have 2 products that are sold at www.ringside.com

One is a deodorizer spray that you can spray in your gloves and gym bag. The other is called "Glove Dogs", you put them in your gloves after working out and they soak up the moisture from sweat and deodorize the gloves. Neither product is expensive.|||spray with lysol.. kills bacteria that causes those odors...

also hang em up outside

get that fresh air drying them out..

right after you work out you probably put your sweaty gloves in your gym bag and they stay in there smoldering until you use them again..

open them up as much as possible when you hang dry them|||Apply a deodorant in your hands before using the gloves...
