Whats the difference between Golden, Diamond and silver glove boxing tournaments?
And what do I have to do in order to participate in a boxing tournament. I don't have much experience and I've only heard of golden gloves before. But I want to give it a try. How does the whole system work too? If I lose in the tournament, will I be able to come back and try again next time around?? I'm new to this so please be as detailed as possible.|||1st off you have to be an open armature boxer as opposed to novas if you do not recognize either of these then you need to start boxing competitively. Every state has minor differences but you need to be over 16 years old and have about 10 previous fights in order to be an open boxer then for the golden gloves you need to box and win your state golden gloves then depending on your region I was region 12 so the winner of our state Golden gloves boxed in the Las Vegas golden gloves the winner of the Vegas golden gloves then moves on to the national golden gloves. Diamond and silver gloves are different. Good luck|||They are all different types of Experience levels or sometimes can be weight class. You need to register with a local boxing organization and start training immediately for your first fight!
