What are good ways to exercise while boxing at home?

I am trying to lose weight, and I've wanted to box for a very long time. I am going to buy a boxing bag and some gloves later on, so i can set it up at home.

What are some good ways to lose weight and build strength while boxing at home? and how long do i have to do it for? is it about an hour of throwing punches everyday?

I tried searching up ideas, I just couldn't find any.

Please help.|||do everything in 3 minute rounds with 3 second breaks. You can also buy a jump rope and do some rounds of that. The heavy bag is good to train for power and technique, be sure to check out youtube to make sure your throwing your punches with good fundamentals. If you could get a speed bag and double end bag that would be great, but expensive. The heavy bag is going to be expensive, and you might be better off joining a local boxing gym. Some are pretty cheap. Shadow boxing is always good too, and dont forget to wrap your hands! Good luck|||I train at home all the time you don't need a punching bag.You can shadow box for 20 minutes non stop and do 3 3minute rounds with shadow boxing on with weights. Then do some pushups and situps and go to the park and take a jog or play any sport that does with running like soccer, basketball or football.
